Get To Know Seaquence
Hi, I’m Kate.
Licensed BCBA. NJ certified special educator. Certified yoga instructor. Mom of 2 young girls. And someone who believes families deserve support that feels human.
I created Seaquence to give children and caregivers a space where they can feel understood, supported and empowered—not judged, overwhelmed or expected to fit into someone else’s definition of what parenting or progress “should” look like.
Here, we start with your family exactly as you are.
Supporting children has always been at the heart of my work.
For more than a decade, I’ve had the privilege of supporting neurotypical and neurodivergent children across school and clinical settings.
My background in behavior taught me how much we can learn when we look beyond what a child is doing and begin asking what they may be communicating, experiencing or needing.
But becoming a mom changed my perspective in an entirely new way.
I understood firsthand that knowing the strategies and actually using them in the middle of real family life are two very different things. Parenting can be beautiful, exhausting, overwhelming, funny and incredibly complicated—sometimes all before breakfast.
That experience shaped the kind of support I wanted to provide. Practical tools, compassionate guidance and someone in your corner.
That became Seaquence.
Why Seaquence?
Every family has its own rhythm.
Inspired by the natural rhythms of the sea, Seaquence reflects something I believe deeply: growth isn’t linear, and there is no single sequence every child or family is supposed to follow.
Like the tides, there are seasons of ease and seasons that feel a little harder to navigate.
Seaquence is here to help you understand where you are, find the support you need and move forward in a way that feels right for your family—one small step at a time.
Seaquence Symbols + Meanings

My work brings together education, behavior, regulation, yoga and mindfulness to look at children and families through a more complete lens.
With more than a decade of professional experience, I combine evidence-informed strategies with a neuroaffirming, relationship-centered approach—always adapting support to the individual child and family rather than expecting the family to adapt to a one-size-fits-all method.
And I’m a mom, too.
I know what it’s like to have all the information in the world and still wonder what you’re supposed to do in this particular moment with this particular child.
Because Seaquence is professional support, but I never want it to feel cold or clinical. There’s a real person—and a fellow parent—on the other side of the conversation.
